To model the early in vivo events characteristic of fallopian tube transformation from the p53 signature to STIC and HGSC formation, we have generated a series of FTE immortalized and transformed cell lines. BRCA heterozygosity and hence haploinsufficiency increases risk to cancer formation in the fallopian tube epithelia.
